  • Cooperating with member states to develop global IP infrastructure and build respect for IP.

As a specialized agency of the United Nations, we are committed to working with developing and least developed countries to enable them to reap benefits from the IP system and to enhance their participation in the global innovation economy.

Technical assistance

We offer technical assistance development support both to governments and users of the IP system. Our support includes drafting national IP strategies, providing policy and legislative advice, and implementing business solutions for IP offices.
